Longing for thrills on Roller Coaster Day

The coronavirus pandemic has put all of us on an emotional roller coaster. It has also prevented most of us (myself included) from riding any actual roller coasters. So, how were we supposed to celebrate National Roller Coaster Day (which was held, without much fanfare this year, on August 16)? We may not be able to ride thrill machines, but we can still daydream about them. Let’s run down the most iconic coasters in the U.S. and then look forward to the day we can ride the rails and take a victory lap together when we smite COVID. Read my USA Today article.
